Once, there lived a slave who endured harsh treatment from his master. Unable to bear it any longer, he fled to the forest in search of freedom. In the woods, he encountered a lion with a thorn embedded in its paw, rendering it unable to walk. Despite his fear, the slave summoned his courage and removed the thorn from the lion’s paw. Grateful for the assistance, the lion departed into the wilderness without harming the slave.
Time passed, and the slave was captured by his master while in the forest with some animals. Commanded by his master, the slave was thrown into the lion’s den. As he faced the lion, he realized it was the same one he had aided earlier. Miraculously, the lion did not harm him, allowing the slave to escape unscathed. In turn, he freed all the other animals trapped with him.

The moral of this tale is that kindness and compassion have a way of returning to those who practice them. By performing good deeds and showing kindness to others, one can expect kindness and goodwill to come back to them in unexpected ways.
