Pottery for Kids : Helps in Shaping Kid's Behavior

Pottery learning is one of the most enjoyable , fun-filled, creative and peaceful activity which as a parent/guardian we can provide to our kids.

Kids are natural creators, and they are curious to learn and create!
They are filled with energy and always want to express themselves. One thing we as a parent or guardian need to do is to u let them express themselves through different forms depending on their likes and that will make them more happier, more expressive, more creative and it will also help them in their mental growth.

Kids are just like raw soil, which is used to create pots, they are pure , filled with enormous talent and zeal to learn, they like doing differet activities, you will see them trying to paint a beautiful scenary one day and another day trying to paint a picture of parents , brother or sister, and how happily they run towards us and show their cute drawings with lot of happyness and enthusiasm. One can clearly see their imagination , whether it come from drawing they made or through different colors they choose to fill the canvas of imagination.

So what makes Pottery even more interesting is that it again opens up Dreamland for kids, where they can put all their imagination into creating different shapes from their universe of imagiation , they can experss themselves, litterally enjoy while doung pottery and best part is end product will be their creation on they can be proud of!

So at the end its not only fun, imagination and creativity, we will observe that in background kids gets benefitted in many ways health and metal benefits, including better hand eye coordination, stronger motor skills, stronger problem solving skills, to name just a few.

Calmness:

The best part which pottery brings into kids is calmness. It is so involving that once kid start putting his hand in clay, after that he/she will start enjoying and in trying to create their unique pot or craft, they dont realize how many minutes or hours get passed.

This brings calmness in kids because of its engage kids and allow them to bring out all their imagination and creativity!

Improving Self-confidence

Creating own craft from just clay showing to others and getting applaud and recognition is in itself helpful in increasing confidence of kids. Second and more important part is while making crafts from clay they realize that final product is not coming as they thought and without any hesitation they just start doing again and try to make it as they thought. This also help them learning from mistakes and increasing their confidence also!

Discipline

following rules and guidelines are important aspects of learning and help kids in making them disciplined. In general kids are free and don’t want any boundaries or limitations but teaching them to be disciplined and follow some rules help them in becoming more responsible also. So pottery classes help them in discipline aspect also since their are few kids who learn by watching other kids also, if they see other kids are following instructions then they also start following.

Problem Solving skills and self Pride

Working to create clay arts allows children to explore challenges, solve problems, and learn to recover from their mistakes as they happen. It also increase their self pride once they achieve what they imagined to create and also get recognition from friend and instructor.

Overall pottery is an art which every kid must learn and it overall helps them to become better person in their life!
